Mr Wilks pointed me towards my set which I bought from EBay. I was interested in some CSL replicas but when I looked at the 230s I thought they fitted the bill nicely and as I said they are really easy to clean.

Style 295s are look very similar, but are an 18" E89 wheel. But you'll need to find used ones as I believe they're no longer available.
I've got them on my Coupe.

Ohhh, thank you @Mr Tidy!!! Look really nice!
Spacers needed?
Any chance of someone posting pics of a grey Coupe with those beauties for additional help?? Otherwise I'll photoshop, for a start

You definitely won't need spacers on the front, and don't really need any on the rear.
They're the same 8J front & 8.5J rear as the 108s/MV2s, but front ET is 29 instead of 47 so they sit 18mm further out! Rears are ET40 instead of 50, so they sit 10mm further out.
That and the lack of 108 bolt-head corrosion issues is what I liked best about them.

thx again for the immediate response!
same width front and rear, in my case.
luckily, due to being garaged and driven rarely -which is about to change..now that I'm in love again after retrofitting lotus seats- I have little to none bolt-head corrosion issues. yet..

Thanks, Ian - I'm really pleased with them.
Even if your 230s do look even better!

The 295’s look very nice too! Never knew about these wheels... fittment looks spot on also.
I thoroughly cleaned and waxed the 230s today - didn’t take too long but they shine very nicely now I would never have bothered with csl reps (or did on my previous style 220 reps) as the many spokes just makes it too hard to do properly. The 230’s are subtle, fit really well and complement the coupe lines very well - my wife and few friends said they car looks like it was released from factory with these wheels (they all hated the style 220’s lol).

The 230s do look good, I could be tempted by a set of them on my E85 roadster (was planning on changing wheels next summer). Are people running stock tyre sizes (225/35/19 front and 255/30/19 rear) and do they rub at all?

hey mate I was running 235/35/19 up front and it was rubbing a bit when going over dips in the road... Changed over to 225/35/19's today and it seems to have eliminated the rubbing (and also looks better proportioned with the 255/30/19 rears I have).

The more I look at the picture of those 19" 230s the more I love them.
