Yes, they look great.
The upside of running E89 wheels on an E85/86 is they sit further out so you don't need spacers!

That’s given me food for thought, was set on csls or tiger claws but that’s thrown a curve ball in there ... so clean and simple

New wheels! BMW style 230
Old post I know! I nearly bought the above E86 riding on 230’s a couple of weeks ago. I (or was it my passenger) decided on a convertible instead. Picked up an 03 3.0l in silver. Have found a set of 230’s to replace the 17’s. I think they suit the E85/86 perfectly.
