E89 Alignment

Post by Lazza » Sat Nov 24, 2018 1:27 am

Hi all. Now that I have new non-RF tyres, I can feel that it could do with the alignment being tweaked.
Coming from Mazda MX5s, there are a number of different settings available to suit different driving styles. I had fairly track oriented settings on mine as while it was predominantly a road car, it was also used a fair bit on track. I also prefer the more direct feel of the steering.

Are there recommended settings for the E89, specifically for the 35i or does everyone just go with the standard settings?

Most people seem to look for Hunter alignment machines and then have the settings that are in the Hunter software.

I think I’ll just go to Wheels in Motion (Black Circles) and ask the guys there to do it. They know me and my MX5 well so should be able to give me settings to suit me.
