Genuine floating centre caps now available :)

Saw this on another forum and thought it may interest some of you guys.

Seems that BMW have now started to release floating centre caps similar idea to those seen on Rolls Royce cars.

I think it quite a cool idea to be fair but they aren't overly cheap......

I do as well, I think. I guess you've gottu see them first really. Particularly since they're over £60! Think I may wait around for a second hand set!

What sort of wheel has the diameter for the centre caps at 120mm?
The other thing is if you have M badges under the centre cap they will hardly ever line up with the badge when you are at a standstill.

Why add more weight to a part of the car that benafits from lightness? I don’t get it?? At all only other people will ever see it! And if they are the type of person to notice! I don’t think I would care if they liked it or not
My little blue zed is in lots of bits. With lots of things started and not many finished! I may have found the limits of my time and ability!!

Sounds like a cheaper alternative to ’spinners’, though think 99.999999% won't notice nor care

You get a similar effect braking hard on ice, or the outside lane of the M1 from the tyre marks I see.
I used to have two boys and a girl. Now I have two Men and a Woman. :?
