Thanks for the pics & link.Silverzedtom wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 2:55 pmFrom what I can work out, Atomic went bust or at least disappeared for a while last year. Perhaps if this is correct there is old stock left?markprz86 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 2:49 pm Just spoken to both BM Autosport and CM Wheels regarding CSL replicas. Both have been very helpful and offered forum discount.
I didn't realise this, however, that the CM Wheels CSL's aren't the same as BM Atuosport Atomics. (my mistake)
I thought hey both stocked Atomic wheels (made in Taiwan), that were just at different price points.
CM Wheels are £510.00 delivered
BM Autosport are £615.00 delivered
Would the extra price mean better quality? I've seen a lot of posts from people expressing "You get what you pay for"
I payed 6 something for mine from Bm Autosport. Can’t fault the wheels besides paint as per my other post above.
If they are the same sizes you could find out if there’s a difference in weight?
EDIT: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=99030&p=1450019&hil ... l#p1450019
Nearly sold them as they rubbed until I chanced putting a set of 255’s on (now rub free). Thought it might help to see pics of them fitted
However, the car won't be lowered as mentioned before. So I assume this problem wont happen or will be far less.
Weights:
Original OEM CSL: Front: 10.9kg Rear: 11.56kg (figures found on google)
BM Autosport Atomic CSLs: approx 11kg per wheel (not the most accurate answer, working on a better one)
CM Wheels CSLs: Front: 11.2kg Rear: 12.9kg per wheel
