Hi
I've got a 03 Z4 with an electric roof. Recently it's stopped working, before I take it to the garage I thought I'd check with you guys for advice. The catches wirl open and the roof is ready to fold back but the motor that pulls it back doesn't kick in.
This leads me to think it might be just a fuse gone (or wishful thinking). I've always helped it along as it wasn't very strong (I wonder if this helped break it!). Any ideas?
Please help.
I did not find the right solution from the Internet.

Z4 Roof problems
Motor is probably sat in a pool of water as is common if you don't keep an eye on the drain bungs. Motor can be refurbed no problem and relocated to the boot. Lots of members on here can do it, where are you located?

You also don't need to take the roof off at all like mentioned in the Pistonheads thread. Can all be done with roof in situ in under an hour - circa £80 - £100.
