Sell the 135s and 108s
Mv2 are common e46 wheels and 108s corrode whilst you look at them

Do 107 Wheels look good on a Coupe?
I went down this route with some mv2s as well and in the end I decided the 107s are the best looking factory wheel so i'm sticking with them. Now I've just got to get around to selling the two other sets of wheels I've acquired to reach this decision!BeeEmm wrote: ↑Fri Jun 29, 2018 3:48 pmI bought a set of 135's to replace the 107's and the 108's. I now like the 107's and will probably sell the 135's and 108's, or will I sell the 107's and the 108's? If I don't sell two sets, I will have 12 wheels for one car. It doesn't take long to have a 'collection'.

Wasn’t really referring to monetary value. I’m referring to value in the sense of driving pleasure and performance of the car.Phoenixboy wrote: ↑Fri Jun 29, 2018 3:41 pmtasteful mods may make your car appealing to a potential purchaser, but are unlikely to add value.
the wrong mods will very likely put most off.
For example shifting with a normal gear knob, then a ZHP. Different experience. Feels so much better, smooth and precise. Perhaps value isn’t the right word. But it certainly adds something to the overall driving experience

I can relate to that - my E86 is on 108s that are in decent condition just now, but I know how they all end up and I was planning to get onto non-RFTs and sell the 108s.BeeEmm wrote: ↑Fri Jun 29, 2018 3:48 pmI bought a set of 135's to replace the 107's and the 108's. So last year I bought a set of 32s with winters on them and then a set of 224s for summer tyres, but the 224s need a refurb which I haven't got around to yet so it's still on the 108s.
Then earlier this year I sold my E46 and the buyer didn't want the winters so I've got a set of those.
I replaced the E46 with an E91 that had winters fitted, so I bought a set of summers for that - wheels just seem to accumulate!
Coupes because stunning!

That dealership looks a bit sparse. Do the Engineers work in the shade of the trees and leaver the cars up with logs?

Just the thought of having to clean in between those spokes everytime I wash the car, is enough to put me off I stay away from multistpokes for this exact reason.
107's take about 30 seconds per alloy to clean

They're not to bad. The spacing is big enough to get in easily. Unlike the gap in MV2s. Or the cross-spokes on my E30 which are miserable to clean.

That's exactly why I didn't want one with MV2s again!

Agreed. Got 32's on mine and (as well as liking the look and appreciating they're lighter than any other BMW wheel) I don't find them too tricky to clean. The gaps between the spokes are easily wide enough to get in there.NickDE wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 6:20 pmThey're not to bad. The spacing is big enough to get in easily. Unlike the gap in MV2s. I am sorely tempted by some CSL's though...

Yep - I think they look great - definitely better than the 108s!BeeEmm wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 5:25 pm I recently tried to sell a refurbished set of 107's with good tyres on the Forum. No offers, so I decided to put them on my Coupe and I am glad that I did. To my surprise I like them and I think that they suit the car. Opinion of course, will be split, (no pun intended for the 108's) but it would be interesting to hear what others think about whether 107's look good on a Coupe. A funny thing happened when I changed the wheels, the 'Whippy' changed to a 'stubby'. How odd!
