I am about to replace all 4 tyres on my daily drive but have a dilemma, Goodyear or Continental? My rears are the original tyres I bought with the car new 3 years 2 months ago and have 79000 miles on them. The fronts have been replaced at 36000 miles for Goodyears. Which is the best tyre?
So to summarise the fronts have 43000 on them on Goodyear and the rears have 79000 on them on Continentals.

Are you sure that’s correct? I’ve never heard of rear tyres lasting 79k miles! That must be a world record if trueDaveZ4richardson wrote: ↑Thu May 17, 2018 5:49 am I am about to replace all 4 tyres on my daily drive but have a dilemma, Goodyear or Continental? Definately true Rob, its all motorway driving. Thinking with that sort of wear I should just go back to Continental on all 4 tyres. Seem to be a hard wearing compound.
Believe it or not the rear discs and pads are still the originals too!!

I wish it was Rob. Not with an 80 mile round trip. It's a 2 litre Astra Estate diesel.Smartbear wrote: ↑Thu May 17, 2018 6:11 amIs your daily drive the z4?DaveZ4richardson wrote: ↑Thu May 17, 2018 6:07 am Definately true Rob, its all motorway driving.
