Need help on selling price estimation for: 4x 18" 294 alloys w/ tyres from E89 35i Z4

Hi all,

I'm considering changing the wheels on my 09 E89 35i from the current 18" 294s to the 19" 326s (possible M sport bumper to come later 😍)

Ideally I'd want to sell the current 294s after buying the 326s but I really don't know what these would sell for - I don't see them for sale very often so it's hard to have a selling price in mind. I'm just trying to weigh up the cost of upgrading to the 326s!

I'd sell these with the tyres as I wouldn't have any need for 18" tyres after upgrading. 3 out of 4 of the tyres have only done about 2000 miles. The alloys are ok condition for a car that's 9 years old. There's no cracks as far as I'm aware. I asked the garage to inspect the alloys on the last tyre change (about 2 months ago) and they couldn't find any cracks.

If anyone has an idea on how much I could get for these that would be great!

Cheers

Nath

Hi,

Not sure I would be the best to help but we do have some wheel experts here but I suspect they'd need some pics before chiming in .....

You say 1 tyre is older than the other 3, does it match ? how many mm left on it etc ???

Just trying to help you get the answer you want.

Hi Dibbs,

Ok great thanks. I'll try and get some photos on here.

Yeah all of the tyres match, they're all Goodyear Eagle F1 Assym 3s. One on the rear axle was replaced after hitting a pot hole which damaged the sidewall. Very annoying because the two on the rear were only put on a few months ago! There's plenty of tread on the other one that wasn't replaced recently but I'll measure the depth when I take photos.

Cheers

Hi Nathan..

Value of the Style 294's, I suspect will depend on their current overall, condition?

Once you post up some images, of each of the wheels, I'm sure someone will pop up, with a suggested price. Maybe, even bite your hand off, to buy them?!

You've mentioned about how fresh the tyres are, also.. Which, is another positive

Cheers and good luck with the sale of these.. Then, with the move up to 19"s..
