Which offsets should i go for..

Post by WillP » Tue Apr 17, 2018 6:56 pm

I'm looking to get some 19inch wheels for my 3.0i Sport on standard suspension - the ones i like the look of are 8.5 front, 9.5 rear but come in offsets of et35, et40 or et45 on fronts and et40 or et45 for the rears...what offsets should i go for?? Any advice gratefully received!

Et35 rear
Et40 front for me. I've ran more aggressive offsets than this and had no rubbing even on a 265 30 19 and 225 35 19 front.

Thank you for sharing your sets up...i don't actually know what offset means...what is the difference between an et35 and et40?

Et35 is 5mm further out from the hub than Et40.

Et 40 is 40mm from the outside face of the wheel to the mating face of the hub

BBS CH 19x8.5 ET35 and 19x9.5 ET40 if I recall correctly.... 235/35/19 & 265/30/19, and I’m on standard suspension with no rubbing whatsoever
