I think it's been established now that reps like mine aren't worth the expense of a professional refurb... However my OCD doesn't sit well with the odd paint chip here and there so I'm thinking of doing my own.

Unfortunately despite many many attempts to find a colour match I've come up short, so my refurb may have to involve a colour change. I've gone down the route of comparing colours on the forum before and soon realized that it's an inexact science dependent on the various different screens used to view them. However, I'll go ahead anyway as it's only a general idea I'm after, nothing definitive.

So bearing in mind it's going on the following wheel:

I have a preference for the following colours and wonder which one people think would look best?

Possibly somewhat controversial, besides the ones fitted I also have these as center cap options:

I would say that if you are leaving the edges polished then you need to have a definite change for the centres. So I would go fairly dark.

Why stay with the dark grey ? Gold spokes/polished rim looks great with blue bodywork.

For what it's worth I think the gold looks great with a blue car.

Love the Gold and polished rim look but I personally would not put a BBS centre on them if they are reps stick with a BMW centre for me. Bit like putting an M badge on a non M. My opinion only of course.
