Fitted some new rims curtesy of James.
Think they give the car a better stance.
Can someone identify the smaller 17's please.
Are they a common wheel?

It would be interesting to see what the factory spec of your car was using a VIN checker; my bet is that the car came with 18” 108 split rims and they became tatty due to corrosion so somebody put a cheaper set of 17”s on to tidy the car up for sale.

I can't recall seeing any Si Sport coupes or roadsters that came specced from factory on style 200 , or any other 17s for that matter :?
As rally Chris points out , worth tracking down your cars build sheet to show its original wheel spec

Because the Si came in either SE or Sport spec.

It sits like an SE in the first pic, and the 224s have probably got oversized tyres so you don’t notice it as much in the second pic.

Just checked my brochure - 200s were the standard wheels for a 3.0Si SE whether E85 or E86.

Mind you I've never seen one with those before - most SE Coupes seem to have 18s (often 107s).
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

I can confirm that my E85 3.0Si SE came with style 200s but I managed to swap my 18" MV2s from the Zed I was trading in on to it as part of the deal

Your new Style 224s look great btw

Looks lovely now mate. Suits the car a treat. 17s seem so small nowadays. I can't wait to get mine sorted.

Your car definitely looks much better with the 224s on OP.
