Z4 E86 Coupe wheel advice?
Hi,
I plan to lose the run-flat tyres and fit these wheels with decent non runflats,
3SDM 0.05 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear,
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3SDM-0-05-ST ... 1438.l2649
Could I please ask for some advice in regards to,
Bolt pattern and the correct offset
And what tyre brand and sizes I'd need?
Thanks a load for any advice proffered as I'm a complete novice and don't want to order the wrong things!
Thanks again!!

Yup that set is good spec you'll be fine with standard sizes or can go for a bit wider on the rear.
I do have a nice set for sale off my z4 coupe.

Good tyres too basically ready to fit/go.

g\\\\hg\g\hg\'From the choices given these are the ones for your car
5x120
WIDTH: 8.5" FRONT 9.5" REAR
OFFSET: ET35 FRONT ET40 REAR
Rear tyre size 265 30 19 or 255 35 19 , both will fit without issue providing you aren't slammed i prefer 255 35 , others prefer 265 30 .
Fronts ? This is where you need to be very wary with tyre choice , assuming new so a full tread depth of 8mm then no bigger than 225 35 19 & even then it "may" catch ever so slightly if pressing on in the twisties

Z4 E86 Coupe wheel advice?
Thanks for the replies,
Will I still get rubbing issues with the 18's?
I don't want the stretched look and would prefer a bit of sidewall if that helps?

235 40 18 front / i would go 255 40 18 rear for no stretch , more comfort/protection & reduce arch gap but others may prefer 255 35 to keep rolling radius as the stock set up would bepatrickbateman wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 2:09 am Still seeking advice for this, could anyone help please?

Gentleman and a hero, thanks so much thats exactly what I was wanting to know,
So 255 35 18 is the same rolling radius as the stock wheels, just an inch wider?
When you say "more protection" does that refer to the wheel edge?
Will running a rear tyre with a different rolling radius affect the handling characteristics of the car?
Thanks again to you and everyone else that replied, new to all this and determined to get this right first time!

Last questions!
Would this set of 3SDM wheels be of a decent quality please?
Are there any negatives to fitting NON genuine BMW wheels?

The only negative is the quality of lacquer used. Gaz's lasted 6 months before they started peeling. My advice would be to get these powder coated if your heart is set on this design.

Wax them, seal them and only run them as summer wheels and you’ll be fine.
There is no need to powder coat new wheels. Get some usage out of them first before you take that route.
