I’m picking up some refurbs from Oxford Performance Autos next Monday, so I can let you know then. Prices seem very reasonable.

Hi Maxy, I took advantage of their exchange service. If you have identical wheels to ones they’ve got in stock, they’ll swap them for a price which seems reasonable compared to a full refurb. This means you can get a refurb “while you wait” rather than waiting a couple of days. There were a couple of cars outside on axle stands waiting for refurbs to be done, whereas I drove in on a ratty set of MV1s and out in a little over an hour with shiny new ones.

The customer experience isn’t the best, there’s a tiny waiting room adjoining the industrial unit and not many staff around (ring the bell for service). Quality I would say was OK, the exchange wheels were solid but there were some minor imperfections in the finish. Overall though, for £300 a set including a custom paint colour, I reckon they are very good value.

Oxford Performance Autos have confirmed to me they will give a 10% discount off wheel refurb services if you mention that you are a forum member at the time of booking.
