666m / reps on e89 anyone got anything similar

Post by Adil_3 » Tue Jul 10, 2018 12:53 pm

Hey Peeps,

So ive been looking around now for what alloys and tyres to put on my e89. Going to be completely honest im a right noob when it comes to this kinda stuff. So ive come across the m4 and 666m alloys look spectacular. Has anyone got any recommendation for alternatives to them or has anyone put anything on their e89 thats similar. Would love to see some photos.

P.s - My e89 is white and I'm thinking if m666 19's if they'll fit (arguably want something cheaper) in gunmetal grey would look cracking!

Loving the look of those on an e89, feeling inspired to reconsider my decision on sticking the BBS split rims I have currently...
Current - E89 Z4 SDrive 3.0i - last of the normally aspirated six cylinders
Gone - E85 Z4 2.2 SE

Okay, so I'm just about to take the plunge for the 666m wheels from cm wheels. linked below:

https://cmwheels.com/product/19-stagger ... 46-z4-f30/

I kind of need your guys help. For the short term, I'm going for some cheapo tyres for these bad boys on the e89 and then jumping to some khumos/toyos. Anyone got any tyres or know of anyone that got some good cheapo tyres for me to slap on for the short term. I'm currently running run-flats on 18 294 and the ride comfort is horrible.

(dont mind travelling) and once ive done the jump the 249's should be up for grabs on the cheap seeing as they're battered. (so stay tuned) but if anyones got any for sale do give me a shout.

Also Mr Wilks, from your recommendation anything for me to be aware of with slapping these on my e89? any issues or problems.

Hi Op

Don't think I would put cheap or used rubber on my brand new wheels if I were you.
Every new pair of boots you put on you run the risk of damage during fitting.

Do your new beautiful looking wheels a favour and put decent rubber on them.

If you don't want to stretch to new rubber now, wait a month or two, save up and then avoid the worst of the winter salt and crud on the wheels as well by putting them on in spring.

A lot of us run winter wheels and winter tyres if our cars are DD,s.
