newbie key coding

I have just got my 2004 Z4 2.2 and love it.
Reaading about the ability to code the key for more options, can someone tell me exactly what is the cheapest and easiest way to do this.
I have read about the carly app but what leads do i need to connect to my car.

Hi, you can use the Carly obd plug in to wirelessly code the car as an alternative to a lead.

cheers smartbear but i think the wireless verson doesnt work on 2004 e85 I read

Hi guys really need help
Have just got the cable and software for NCS Expert
can someone please give me a complete easy guide as how I use this to go about coding my key to sound alarm when locking and opening the roof on key press.

Assuming you've installed correctly and it works there are a couple of guides if you search on google. Where are you? If local could show, or do a remote desktop session.
