Curious, why would you want to turn the DRL feature off?

Did you ever get a response? I've added the switch and no results. US E89 35i. I have the programming Carly device also if there is a specific item that needs to be changed.

Frustrating. This was easy on my M3 and X1.

If its anything like the time I added heated seats to my E89 I had to update the JBE module to enable them, despite it not obviously being related to the JBE module (I had added the codes to the other modules, but the passenger seat just didn't work - when I loaded the JBE and coded it, with no changes, a click was heard in the JBE and then it worked). I guess if you're running the cable from the switch directly you'd have expected it to work though!

I did this for an E85 for the same reasons as you, I believe at the time when I did this mod, E86 was the same procedure (Not positive on E89). Few ways you can go about, I coded mine to enable it and no extra wires were needed. Replace your LSZ or facelift it (much easier) and code away. I'm assuming you already have it worked out, so I'm not adding more.
