It was a video like this led to me having to repaint the front end after a respray

The badge on a Z4M is screwed down and no amount of prising will free it :D

Is the Olive Skewer a BMW special tool? If yes I need to get one. Anybody know if the e85 facelift 2006 2.5 bonnet badge is secured by nuts or just pushed in?

I would have had to have cleaned the area where the new badge was going before fitting it.

All Z4 bonnet badges are fastened on with 2 self tapping nuts that secure it. Access is by removing one of the rad grilles and from memory a 10mm socket.

Sorry to OP but whatever you do don't follow this video at all for Z4's

You must take in consideration that this Tuto isn't valid for the e89.
