I have just replaced my right tail light. Was sealed but clip broke and water entered.
Bought new one, take apart.

Glue the rubber trim in place, then coat it with glue, i usedEvostick spray.

Then reattach and spray glue around the outside so it runs nicely down to the sealing edge.

Did all this to the left light when replaced 6 years ago, no leaks since.

Not a good picture but all the electronics are at the bottom of the lamp. Soon as water gets in..well guess what.

I used this video today to swap out the OSR (right) light unit without much trouble. Had I not used the video I’d be cussing trying to get the trim panel out (without knowing to lift the boot lid on the rear hinges). Really helpful and recommend to others
