Acoustic signal on open/close
Does the Z4 have the option to turn it on or off when you open/close the locks via the key? Or is it not there at all?

I don't believe that there is a noise option only a visible flash option.

Hi, what Z4 is this?
I am pretty sure that you can do it on all Z4's, E85 and E89.
I have enabled this on my E85. It "chirps" as well as flashes the indicators when I lock or unlock it with the fob.
You have to "code" the car to enable it though. I am not sure the dealer can do it.

It'll be the E89 as per the top board index. The only option avalible via the dash for locking are visible flash or no flash and drivers door open on one push and other door on second push or all doors at the same time. It may well be a coding thing, but doubt the dealership will do that, especially on a brand new car.
If it's still Vardys he's buying from they can barely get it right resetting service lights, never mind coding something!

Ok, so yes you can do it but you need to get the car "coded".
There are literally hundreds of options which can be switched on and off for different markets.
"Coding" is basically switching these features which are there but usually off to on. It may be possible with the audible confirmation that the dealer could do this but I think it is unlikely.
Ask them.
