I raise the rear section of the roof to a half way point, easier access.

Kneel on the seat and clean it.
You could half open the roof and reach underneath I suppose.

Be careful kneeling on the seat as this is how occupancy sensors get knackered.

Bloody good question, been thinking about this lately cos I got a smudge on the glass and when it mists up, can see where 2 sucker things or stickers had been placed.

I aint no midget either....I might have eaten a midget at some point, cos I is fat! Flexibility is not a good thing either! If I kneel on the seat I might do damage, so wonder if the roof opened is an idea.

AFAIK the roof will only stay open for a short while, anyone know how long that is?

I get about 10 seconds before it starts 'self' closing! I have a bag of beanbag beads in the garage, so I use that to hold the window up - works a treat

I think it may depend on the angle the roof is at. I find that if I get the back of the roof at 45 degrees or more, it stays there. If its less than that (i.e. only a few inches from the rear deck) after a few minutes the hydraulics release and the roof slides back onto the deck. Only takes 30 seconds to clean anyhow, mines due this weekend as the constant condensation from these freezing mornings has left a mucky inch of glass at the bottom where no filaments are to make it go away fully.

The one time I tried my roof self closed after a short period (felt like 30 secs may have been shorter) so havent tried again , dont like to kneel on seat so have to live with it
