I have the same problem with mine (end of 2010 model) and they said bugger off! I noticed it after I first bought it

However, after it was coated with CQuartz Ceramic coating it hasn't got worse. Going to get it resprayed one of these days, but not a priority at the moment

I would get BMW to replace the roof. They did mine under warranty so I cant see how they can refuse you now as they've set a precedent

My BMW warranty ran out and I've been to three dealers and they've all told me the same thing. I've just accepted it now and will get it fixed myself
