I had the same problem as you, adann.

The first solution was to replace the broken n/s/r barrel spring, for which my indy charged the part and half an hour's labour.

The second solution was for the indy and one of his mechanics to go over the car, lubricating and/or tightening everything they knew could rattle. This cost an hour's labour.

The car is now rattle-free, roof up or down.

So, I reckon you need a knowledgeable indy.

Also drop the windows a few millimetres. The black strip runs hard against the top.
