Today being as it was a nice day decided to give the Mrs car a good clean and also investigate some water ingress in passenger footwell . Decided to completely remove passenger seat. disconnected cable from seat no problem . I then proceeded to soak up all the water from under carpets , seems a seal needs fixing on door trim .
When re assembling seat I connected cables back onto underside of seat but now when ignition is switched on a red airbag ligt is illuminated on dashboard .Any suggestions as how to fix or what i have done wrong ?
Its a 2.5 SE auto 2003 model .Thanks guys in anticipation

You should of disconnected the battery for min 20 mins before unplugging passenger seat. Need either dealer or someone with software INPA or DIS to clear light. You could try disconnecting battery as above to see if it will reset.
