First puncture

Post by bigendbob » Tue Dec 04, 2012 11:33 pm

Really annoyed picked up my first puncture on 3 month old Goodyear asymmetric tyre. :(
At least i know the low pressure warning system works! :)
The electric pump i carry came in handy as the warning only came up 2-3 miles into my journey, in the pouring rain.

Where i went for the repair i was parked up alongside a SLK200.
It had the same rear left flat and wheel removed.
Looking at disc brake and suspension, it looked like it come off a Mini Metro, was suprised how small the caliper and unvented disc was. Also next to no suspension.
In comparison the Z4 looked like the suspension had come from a Panzer Tank. (Although i think that is the case with Porsches).
