Folding mirror

Post by Sandygate128 » Thu Aug 02, 2012 7:40 pm

Another thing I thought I'd mention to the dealer
Was that the folding exterior mirrors don't fold up equally.
The one on the passenger side folds in 2.5" further than the
Drivers side I was told they can't find fault as they looked at
Another one and its the same. But when I asked to see the
Car it strangely wasn't there.
If anybodys got folding mirrors let me know if yours fold equally.
Cheers.

One of my mirrors takes slightly longer to fold than the other, although I cant remember which way round it is. Its only about a second.

Not sure if they end up at the same angle though, I'll check.

Neither mirrors of my M3 or the E89 fold in equally.
There is a difference between the the sides, so don't worry.
