The seat rattle may not be worthy of rejection, but the leaks are!

It's not the dealers choice...he isn't looking after you!

My BMW finance lady was a pain to get hold of (never returned calls) so I asked to talk to someone else and then miraculously the original one appeared!

If he can avoid rejection, then yes, it's a trade in, which isn't right. Fight for rejection and replacement with identical car, then the finance docs don't change (they just alter the vin and reg no) but no other details change.

Remember...you bought a new car...you haven't received a suitable example yet.

And I don't think a cut off applies cos you told them of the faults ages ago, the delays (as in my case) have been their fault!

Don't give up, it is stressful, but treat it as a fight for justice and calmly list your cars faults, their attempts to rectify and say they clearly can't fix it so you want a replacement. Get back onto BMW finance and demand to speak to someone.

Well. It looks like Sopers of Lincoln have bought the car from Audi....

The list price before any discounts applied was just over £33K Stark from memory

I think they've changed them for the 'smaller' ones. Wish someone would go to the stealership and have a look, see if they have!
