Re: Folding mirrors?
they only pop out automatically above 19mph? IIRC - 50 yards 'aint far enough!!
edit - just re-read your post.... do you mean they folded out when you drove, then would not fold in after you parked it even when you pressed the "fold" button? In tah case, i can't help you

I suppose it wouldn't be helpful to suggest buying a SmartTop module, that has autofold on lock then?

Folding mirrors?
Happened to me once on one side only though, try giving them a gentle hand - worked for me and never been a problem since. Might even have been the M3 can't recall.

Re: Folding mirrors?
Just put Z back in the garage and mirrors are now working?
I just think it don't like the rain, the alarm goes off when it first starts to rain also! and we are in the middle of a solar drought after all

Re: Folding mirrors?
BMW are aware of the alarm going off in the rain, there is a fix available from the dealers. Had mine done this week. The z4 i have on loan suffers the same thing.Biggsy wrote:Just put Z back in the garage and mirrors are now working?

Re: Folding mirrors?
I've never had any alarm issue, must be a new (too sensitive) alarm in the more recent models?
