Not had a test drive yet. My "contact" on here has been advising so far, :P but I plan to drop into Glasgow MB hopefully this week. I expect it to be softer than the Zed though. it would definitely be an AMG Sport model though.

Roof fixed today. :D Took it in at 8:00am and they phoned about 11:45am to say it was done.

I checked tonight and its working perfectly again. :driving:

Just need to make my mind up whether I'm keeping it or not. Oh, and for info shambolic, Kyle street were not interested in buying it off me as a trade-in for a new sDrive 20i M Sport... :?

I would definitely keep the Zed over an SLK, the new model looks a backward step too me compared to the previous sleek look.

Retractable Hardtop problem

Post by KeithJ » Wed Feb 15, 2012 10:38 pm

Merc have went way back in build in my opinion. The 2007 cars I see look very dated and when you get to 2004 they look like bangers whilst BMW seems to have a certain fresh classic look. I still love the old 3 series!
