Z4 Beemer,
great to see it wasn't a biggy SLK you say now, what happened to S5?
what is your Z4 spec anyway? off to the dealers tomorrow for the performance event, tempted to test drive one

Re: Retractable Hardtop problem
Not had a test drive yet. My "contact" on here has been advising so far, but I plan to drop into Glasgow MB hopefully this week. I expect it to be softer than the Zed though. it would definitely be an AMG Sport model though.

Re: Retractable Hardtop problem
Roof fixed today. Took it in at 8:00am and they phoned about 11:45am to say it was done.
I checked tonight and its working perfectly again.
Just need to make my mind up whether I'm keeping it or not. Oh, and for info shambolic, Kyle street were not interested in buying it off me as a trade-in for a new sDrive 20i M Sport...

I would definitely keep the Zed over an SLK, the new model looks a backward step too me compared to the previous sleek look.Z4 Beemer wrote:Roof fixed today. Took it in at 8:00am and they phoned about 11:45am to say it was done.

Retractable Hardtop problem
Merc have went way back in build in my opinion. The 2007 cars I see look very dated and when you get to 2004 they look like bangers whilst BMW seems to have a certain fresh classic look. I still love the old 3 series!
