Battery cover rattle
Does anyone else find the the battery cover in the floor of the boot / trunk rattles? It seems a strange design that it just 'sits' there with no fasteners

This is a 2.0 battery so probably a tad different....whats rattling?

If toast always lands jam side down, and a cat always lands on its feet, what happens when you strap a piece of toast, jam side up, to the back of a cat?

Re: Battery cover rattle
I don't get a rattle but on large bumps there's a knock as the cover lifts and falls.
Keep meaning to get some Velcro put on it.

This is exactly what I was trying to describe (and the solution I was thinking of doing!)Maniac wrote:I don't get a rattle but on large bumps there's a knock as the cover lifts and falls.

Sorted - 4 discreet, black, self-tapping screws placed 2 on the side where the floor curves up & 2 at the back where it sits on the plastic 'shelf'.... no more ratlle !!

Re: Battery cover rattle
Sorry, late to this thread but never noticed any problem with battery cover on mine. I bought a hard boot liner anyway so when it's used there's no chance of any problem like you're experiencing
