Handle Fault - Are you door handles like this?

Post by MikeS » Tue Jun 01, 2010 12:32 pm

I have recently noticed a fairly prominent blemish on the door handles, it is most obvious on the drivers' side but can also be seen on the passengers' side. It does not show up very well on this photo, but there are 2 raised areas, one to the left of the light reflection and one to the right. Both can be seen when side on and felt. Do others have the same blemish?

I'll check mine when I get home. Have you got the LED light option in the handles? Wonder if this could be heat related? :?

LEDs dont produce heat, hence their energy efficiency...

I do have the LEDs and it may well be where they are fitted.

True on the heat build up with LEDs.
It may just be where they are fitted then.
