Got my first Z4 earlier couple months back. It had been in storage for a 2yrs, so I accepted I may have a few things to fix.
Anyway, I’ve changed the coil pack which fixed misfiring, but since then it idles at 500-600. Is this too low?
She runs okay, but on pull away needs a little more gas than I’d expect. Anyone else experienced something similar? Should I be concerned?

Idle too low?
Mine idles 500-600 rpm. Can need bit of welly when cold in normal, i always drive in sport mode.
Normal mode seems pointless, wish it would stay in mode last selected.

Mines around 500 to 600 as well and yes needs a bit of pressure n the loud pedal to get it moving

Cool, sounds the norm then. I’ll stop worrying about it!
