So go to car, crack up windshield.
Only been on the car a month since Autoglass replaced it.
So go back to Autoglass and the guy there agrees it's a stress crack. I said it looks cheap and thin, it's even slightly wavy down the edges.
He said it's as thick as BMW and to standard (but what standard). I can push glass and it flexes. But not enough to stop it cracking!
Anyone managed to wangle a BMW screen even if a pay towards it.

Soon as it was fitted i thought it looks cheap. Didn't fit properly down the pillars, gap larger at bottom than top. In the reflection of the black border the glass is wavy, reflections are distorted. Tap it doesn't sound solid like the original. And if you push on it, it flexes.
The old screen just before i took it in i thought i wonder how strong it is.
I tapped it fairly hard with hammer, it just bounced off.
When it gets replaced think i will find a different approved fitter.
