Loose front grilles

Post by jamesgarbett » Mon May 10, 2021 3:31 pm

Am going to change my grilles to black but upon inspection of the original grilles it feels like to some of the clips might be broken
Would rather not have loose grilles so what's the best way to secure the new ones assuming some clips are broken?
Thought about glue but not sure where to put it so it's not visible from the front

Maybe the broken clips are part of your existing grills, the replacements might do away with the problem?

Easy enough to whip the existing ones out and then you can see if the clips are broken on the grilles themselves or the frame they mount onto. You could use the images in my ad in the classified section to compare the clips on your existing grilles to mine, which are intact.

Thanks both - from what I can see by looking behind the grilles it looks like it's the frame rather than the grilles that are broken
