Don't worry, as the new microswitches have new screw threads on it's carrier plate.

I do have another explanation:
to dominate the E89 roof, you have to be a swiss master watchmaker, not a car mechanic.

I have done 2 E89 roof faults...

Both have been the microswitches on the ram sections.

Both had hairline cracks in the outer body,replacement from BMW are upgraded part that requires a bit of soldering.

Never had much luck as an amateur gynaecologist so will do evening classes in watch making! :thumbsup:
