Roof issue since airbag light

Hi

I've recently had the airbag light on (now reset) due to a steering wheel refurb. I noticed during this that when I opened the roof, it would get as far as going into the boot, but then the boot lid would stay open and the red roof light would come on. If I then release the button and press and hold again, the boot lid shuts. And then when putting the roof up, it'll close as far as being about 6 inches away from latching onto the top of the windscreen before bonging again, I then have to let go and press the button again.

I hoped this might go away once the airbag light was reset but it's still happening. Has anyone seen anything similar?

edit: Fault code memory list from this morning - this one looks relevant, although "Existent: No".......? BTW no 'existent' entries at all.

00A696 Hall sensor, open circuit, closing movement, rear-end module (Existent: No)
