Well if you have these fitted;

The cat spotted the fault in the design and pointed it out.

Where the wires attach there is a unsealed hole. Water has entered when being washed and corroded the components leading to a short circuit.
The wires burnt before the fuse blew.
Lucky no damage to car.

I do like them, have ordered another pair, but will seal the gap before fitting.

Well looks like they are not sold anymore, so that saves any future problems.

When I got married years ago the ex wife got a couple of kittens, my name suggestions were either
