Did you find the fault using the Foxwell 520 or by other means?

scanner hasnt even arrived yet lol

i used ista on my laptop and found it mentioned a few of the connections had faults and odd voltage readings, but when i did the test on each of the sensors and switches when the roof is in different positions via the troubleshooting of the roof faults all of them came back fine.

notes said could be faulty ecu if wires all seem fine.

so i assumed switches and sensors are all fine and when i checked cabling and covers all looked ok with next to no rubbing or damaging to the outer sides or covers.. so went with a new ctm for cheap of ebay..

didnt fancy pulling the arms off to check the cabling as it seems to involved and swapping an ecu is far quicker.

having said that id still keep the scanner as it means i dont have to pull out my laptop every single time depending on how rich the features are and if its worth the £130 or how ever much i paid for it.

I assume your hydraulic levels are all OK? When my levels were low it seemed to work to a point and then stop. Topped up oil, works fine (until my leak drained the pump - waiting for new seals to get it working again...)

See this happened with my E46 M3s SMG pump price as well.. and now I'm too worried to keep it as SMG as a track car...
