e89 Key Battery

I Have two keys my e89 28i. My main one that I use every day has stopped charging, well at least I think it has stopped charging.

Is there any way to resync the key just in case, or do I go to dealer or indie to replace the rechargeable battery?

Do you have an electric toothbrush? If so sit your key on top of the charger for a bit and see if that charges it

Depending on the spec of the car some of the keys have a replaceable battery in them and it is not charged by the car.
There is a part of the rear of the key that comes off to reveal the battery, its a 2032 I think

Thanks. Mines a non rechargeable one. Watched a video and got the battery out. Simple job
