Water Buildup - Somewhere?

Post by javis20 » Fri Aug 24, 2018 5:12 pm

Just wondering. I park my car on a level surface, but have to back down my driveway on a reverse incline. I notice after a rain, a significant amount of water collects somewhere and pours out when backing down the driveway. Obviously since I'm driving, I can't see where it's coming from. Is that normal or is there a blocked drain. Car is a 2011 E89

Don't know, since I'm in the car when it happens. I just notice a lot of water on an otherwise dry driveway.

I think this is normal. I noticed this on other cars I've owned too.. unless its causing you a problem (such as my S2000 pouring water over my shoulder every time I drove off after rain, to the extent I'd leave a towel in the car for protection... )

I'd ignore it!

They are predicting rain later this week. I'll have my wife back down the driveway so I can see what up. There's no water in the car. I just don't like water accumulating anywhere.
