Loose connector

Post by Tenko » Tue Jun 12, 2018 6:47 pm

My apologies for asking this question in the newbies intro section, I'm new. Looking under the bonnet of my zed I noticed this loose connector, I've looked all over and I can't find its other half, anyone point me in the right direction please.

Could be from bonnet switch for alarm which should be where the 2 diagonal bars meet

Just to add if it is from the bonnet switch, these tend to get in un plugged if the alarm is false alarming as it's the usual culprit, so you may need a switch, or leave unplugged

Thanks for the quick reply, mine doesn't have the alarm connection there. It may well be just a part of the loom that isn't used, or the connection has dropped down, and I can't see it. Just seemed a bit to clean for it not to have been joined to something.

As previously mentioned, it should have the bonnet sensor there so looks like it’s been disconnected & removed
