I've had my 2011 Z4 for 2-1/2 years now, and I love it more every day. However, this winter really screwed up our roads in central Ohio, and I think it's taking a toll on my car. Last year it felt tight and stiff, but this year it feels floaty and insecure. Do you think it is time for struts and shocks already (my car has 65,000 miles on it)? Or maybe something was bent/broken over a pothole?
I just had it serviced at the BMW dealership and they said my alignment was "within tolerance" but I'm thinking of taking it to a suspension place to get it checked out. Does anyone have experience with having to replace suspension parts at ~60k miles?
Thanks!

2011 Z4 Floaty Suspension Feel
The rear shocks on my 23i where worn out at 50k. Standard dampers.
Symptoms were lack of traction on gritty roads, the traction light flashing and a bit thumpy. Replaced with Bilsteins all round and been great ever since.
But..does a 30i have the variable damping?
