£800 LG 65’’ C8 OLED 4K HDR10 / Dolby vision Professionally Calibrated

Post by True-Blue » Mon Jul 19, 2021 2:22 pm

A bit of a weird one for the forum I realise, but upgrading to a 77’’ LG OLED so this 65’’ beauty is up for grabs.

It has been professional calibrated by Steve Withers (Professional TV reviewer and Calibrator)

No banding
No Screenburn
No Dead Pixels

In superb condition, just too big to keep as a second/bedroom TV

Can throw in the bias lighting as won’t be big enough for the new set 8)

Location is Bitton, Bristol

EDIT - Actually will take £800 for it if anyone is interested.

Should they also be carrying a bag with the word ‘SWAG’ written on it?

In all seriousness, had an offer of £800 in under 5 minutes of listing on Gumtree, but I feel that’s a
bit too low to be honest.

£995 for an OLED of 50" would be a good price, for a 77" is absolutely spectacular value, GLWTS!

Ahh, obviously stunned by the value on offer and misread
Its still great value

For my part I can recommend LG they are consistently amongst the best performing panels along with the most reliable, LG and Samsung are the only two makes Id buy tbh

I'm guess one of these will be next...

Either this £20k Z1...

...or this £90k rollable...

BTW, also a fan of the LG panels, and have a combination of LG TVs & LG/Samsung monitors around the house.

We have the 48" inch CX OLED (the smallest I could find) in a bedroom and the 65" CX in the lounge (which replaced a 10 year old 44" Panasonic 1080P plasma that got VERY hot and was VERY heavy).

Er, in a word, no! 🤣

I’m buying a 77’’ C9 - also fully calibrated by Steve Withers.
