Full service history & recent work in my 2 1/2 years of ownership inc common saggy rear suspension replaced with Subaru approved Pedders coils & struts, bushes front & rear inc expensive swing arm, new brake discs/pads front & rear, brake fluid, auto box fluid & front/rear diff fluids, new Bosch battery (warranty to 2020) 4 premium Toyo Celcius all-season tyres, oil/filter service completed in May 2018.
Rare & desirable options on top of the XT Auto spec inc the winter pack (Heated seats, windscreen defrost, fogs & headlamp washers), Full glass electric sunroof, Subaru tow bar with electrics, smart auto-dipping rear view mirror (readout and compass). The SG Series Forester uses the proven WRX 2.0 Turbo unit (with smaller intercooler) with Asymetric 4WD and in this case a smooth and responsive Auto box with low hold and sport/power option. These are now regarded as the best of the Foresters and I searched for ages to find a low mileage un-abused example. The original owner loaded it with options and hardly drove it, I bought with just 36k miles it from an old gent in Devon and have despite buying it to use for occasional family, bike rack leisure duties ended up using it as my daily as it's such a lovely car to use. I've now got a new Countryman Cooper S so sadly time has come to part with what has been one of my favourite all-rounders.
