Any decent road bikes for sale?
Looking for 56/58 frame, I’m 5’11 and 15 stone, so nothing featherweight or fragile.
Just thought I’d ask .
Cheers

Where are you based?
I have a boardman. Bought from Halfords for about £500 and used it less than a dozen times.
Can take pics tomorrow if you’re interested.

Just a note that carbon/lightweight bikes are no weaker that other bikes I've trashed my carbon fibre bike at 14stone through a lot and it's not an issue. I know riders way over that weight and the frames don't just crack.

Thanks for the replies.
No doubt Carbon in perfect condition is super strong, but it is less tolerant of knocks etc, and I was really making the point I could lose almost the weight of a bike before buying a featherweight would make much difference.
Think I’ve sourced one through another forum,
Cheers.

If u havent bagged one yet I can highly recommend https://www.merlincycles.com.
Bought a nice carbon bike from there a few years ago with a Shimano 105 groupset and it's been impeccable.
Essentially a re-branded Ridley frame and forks and Forza finishing kit.
Good value accross the range, not just on carbon bikes.
