Private plate V13OLD - V BOLD

Post by EVM » Tue Feb 13, 2018 11:04 pm

Hi All

Not sure if anyone is interested, but the private reg that came with my new Zed is now up for sale.
Its V13 OLD, but can be read as "V BOLD", as on the plates the previous owner put on the car.

(Sorry for the really oblique angle but its the only photo I currently have on my work laptop)

I have no use for it now as I live in Toulouse and plan to register the car in France pretty soon.
The private registration would be lost in the export process, so have put it on a retention certificate and it is good to go.

With regards to price, the previous owner reckoned it was worth £1000, so I think thats a good place to start.

Cheers

Shame. If it was V13 ALD (V BALD), I would have had it.

Nothing better than having the top down and a chrome dome..... :D

I'd be interested to hear what they charge you to register the car in Toulouse ... I've recently done mine in Pyrenees-Orientale ... I won't tell you what it cost because it might put you off doing it! ... :x .... I hope it's less for a 2007 2.5.

Gulp!!! You've got me concerned now.

I was kind of hoping that it wouldn't be too bad, what with it being over the 10 year mark.

I think I found a registration calculator somewhere online a few years back prior to registering the other car.

Have you got a certificate of conformity?

Hi Kingfisher

I've not actually got the CoC for the car yet.
Where did you get yours, local BMW dealership or BMW head office?

Cheers,
