Am on holiday and just jumped in the pool with my iPhone 6, which is now deceased. Looking for an iPhone 7 to replace it.

It may be repairable
My son's mate did the same on holiday in Turkey a couple of years ago
The apartment complex owner took it to his brother who repaired it in about half an hour for about £30 I think

If you can don't switch on , unless it's tried to switch it's self back on, seal in a bag of rice an put somewhere warm , for what it costs it's worth a shot

Did that and it did switch itself back on, screen has massive water damage behind it so either way it’s buggered. Think I’ve sorted a replacement now though so other than the embarrassment and the £££ it’s all good.

Can't remember... there were car keys, tequila, then a swimming pool!

... Or in reality I had my swim shorts on and followed my 2 year old into the pool... Or course I removed my waterproof watch first, just to be safe! Duh!
