Morning all,
Through I'd share my recent project, now for sale. Custom built alloy wheel table made by myself from a cracked alloy wheel.
The wheel was professionally stripped, repaired and refinished in a bright silver.
Suspension hub, bearing and brake caliper (including pads!) then sourced. These were chemically cleaned, shotblasted and painted in black and silver high temperature metal paint.
A brand new vented brake disc was fitted to the hub to complete the braking assembly beneath the wheel.
Wheel bolts including new chrome covers, new centre cap and new M badge also fitted. This was all then mounted on a circular pedestal base freshly powder coated in a light grey finish.
A circular piece of 6mm toughened glass, custom cut for this project sits on top of the finished table.
The table rotates freely by hand also!
Condition wise it is incredibly good. Both the wheel and stand have been professionally refurbished (few minor imperfections in the wheel unfortunately)
As mentioned above, where second hand parts have been used these have been prepared and finished to a very high standard.
Very reluctant sale as it is such a talking point, however I need to let it go.
I have many photos at various point of the build, a selection are shown.
The wheel is believed to be non-genuine/replica, spec as follows: 19 inch, 9.5J (rear wheel I believe), 5x120, ET32.
Few points to note: The glass is currently sat on top of the wheel, this has been no issue to myself, there is the potential to secure it with some small sticky pads or similar if desired. Also, the wheel, disc and/or caliper are not currently suitable for use on the road!
£499 and also open to any offers
Collection only - Clearly there is some weight to the item, plus I would not want it to get damaged with a courier.
Cash on collection also.
Based in the Doncaster area. Any questions please do ask.
Currently for sale on eBay also, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274490302286
