Black Z4 Coupe M Sport - £10,700 *Reduced - Excellent value*

Post by worton » Mon Feb 18, 2013 11:04 pm

For sale is my Sapphire Black Z4 3.0L Coupe M Sport. It currently sits at just under 48,000 miles but is my daily driver so could go up a little. I've owned this car for almost 18 months now but selling due to getting a job where I need a bigger car. This is perfect for someone who wants a Z4C at a cheaper cost as i need to sell it before my new car arrives. The specs are as follows:

Price: £10,700 *REDUCED*
- Sapphire Black
- M Sport trim
- 48,000 miles
- 56 plate
- Full BMWSH
- Manual
- Individual champagne leather interior (cream)
- Piano Black interior
- Cruise control
- Parking Sensors
- Bluetooth
- BMW Business stereo
- Heated seats
- Electric seats
Location: West Midlands

Added extras since I have purchased the car:
- Professionally installed Dension media device for USB/aux/iPod input into stock radio for completely stock look.
- M Sport gear knob.

Next service is an oil service in 5000 miles time. Comes with 6 months tax and MOT till October 2013. Servicing has been done at 16586 and at 35090 (every time the computer has said) from BMW dealers. It is currently under BMW extended warranty which I'm paying for monthly so will either be able to swap it over to the new buyer to continue the payments or cancel it if not wanted. There is PCP owing on the car but will pay off completely and instantly at the time of purchase.

I am completely open and honest and want serious buyers so please see below the list of bad points, pictures are included as necessary. These are easily rectifiable and purely superficial problems:

1. The wheels need refurbishing. There is very little damage to the alloy itself just that the lacquer is coming off and needs putting right. Also I put some plastidip on the front driver side wheel (see pics) to see what black would look like as I was considering getting a refurb but moved jobs and decided to sell. Plastidip is rubber spray, it peels off without any damage to the wheel underneath just that I haven't had the time to peel it off myself (fingers can't fit in the spokes!). This will come off during the refurb process. I haven't done the refurb myself as I haven't had the time and couldn't leave the car with anyone for a prolonged period of time for a quality refurb due to needing it for my job.

2. Scuff on the front bumper. This is was caused by catching a curb with the bumper, it is a bit longer than your index finger.

3. Very small scratch and crease on passenger door. Done by someone silly at a car park. Very difficult to see unless you carefully look for it.

4. Slight crack on dash trim. Superficial and barely noticeable.

5. Scratch on steering wheel as its on the underside facing the door. Again, barely noticeable.

6. A few stone scratches on front bumper, caused by typical motorway driving.

And that's it. As stated I have been honest and mentioned every single negative detail I can see and remember, just like you I don't want to waste time trying to sell a car that you aren't going to want by not mentioning details. And due to the above I feel I have reduced the price accordingly. I have took care of this car in the years that i have had it, it has only every been washed using the two bucket method, lambs wool mitts, AG HD wax and Meguiars detailer/shampoo.

Feel free to contact me if you would like any information about the car, I will gladly take as many pictures as you like if you want to see more of the car.

I apologise for the pictures, i needed to get the advert up sooner rather than later and washed the car when it was too dark to put decent pictures up. I will replace them with better photos however. There is also this link to more pics including the damage:http://imgur.com/a/3UP3e

Looks exactly what I'm after colour, and mileage wise but too many niggles.

If you consider lowering the price so I can fix the niggles give me a message.

Thanks

I've now reduced this to £10,700 due to ive purchased another car which im waiting for and dont want to part exchange it to it being a pretty poor offer. I feel I've reduced the price compared to any other Z4C's for sale to reflect the work that needs to be done however feel free to contact me with any serious offers.

Nice looking car. Is there any way you can settle the finance before selling, as I know this puts a lot of potential buyers off.

Also, might be worthwhile removing the plastidip, again potential buyer may think it's hiding something sinister!

Good luck with the sale. Sadly its several months too early for me!

Great news, and welcome to the forum.

But what has happened since then, when did you buy it and how many miles is it done now?

And you should know we like to see photos on here - you can't fob us off with some from 7 years ago!

Apologies I was excited to find this thread!

I just got her on Sunday gone (19th). Shes on 99k now and has been most owners daily driver, including me. So far I know of two owners since 2013 including the guy I purchased from (in Surrey) who has had it the last 18 months.

Full service history still, a mixture of BMW and Specialist. It's had front anti roll links replaced in last 18 months and waterpump was done in 2016 at around 70k. Otherwise just servicing.

I have a snag list of 7-8 items I want to fix, all very minor mind.

Only mod is the last owner put a Direnza cat back system on which has really done the engine justice sound-wise and is very quiet at 70.

I'll try and rustle up some photos this weekend (and also post in the newbie area as I'm aware I have bypassed the usual protocol!)

No problem, I got lucky when I posted a photo of mine on another forum and got a reply from the owner before last who was able to give me some more of the car's background, including telling me where he got the cat-back custom exhaust fitted - and they do sound much better with a bit more volume!

Shame you've just bought though as mine has been up for sale a couple of weeks. :(

Keep on enjoying. :driving:

Thanks mate!

Just checked out your ad, looks great, never appeared in my searches weirdly.

Also, small world...I live just down the road in Camberley, I'm just round the corner from TWG funny enough, good to see a testimony on them as I have heard good things.
