Re: Z4M Roadster *for sale*
Thanks to the moderator for adding 'For Sale' - much appreciated
The clutch was replaced due to a faulty dowel in the flywheel that fell out. As the gearbox was out to fix the problem, I took the decision to replace the clutch, cover and bearing at the same time as fixing the dowel. The original clutch was less than 50% worn.
The discs were replaced due to warping on a long downhill descent, and BMW changed under part contribution from me as they were considered to be faulty manufacture, and still well within their servicable thickness.
As for being thrashed, you can determine this by the frequency of servicing, and as the car has seen 15,500 miles between servicing (the maximum) then it can be demonstrated that the car has had an easy life, plus the tyres have done nearly 17k. None of which would apply if the car had been thrashed.
If anyone is interested, then please call for the full picture and it would be appreciated if only positive comments were posted, as the ones so far haven't really helped.
As for the price, like all buying and selling, its a negotiation, and yes it has been reduced when I looked at other similar Z4M's.
If anyone would like to buy this, my number is 07834 505982, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Ye I paid just a tiny bit more for my coupe.. Also a new clutch wouldn't put me off I had a new clutch put in my previous car. Some people drive them like old ladies! New pads and discs why are people complaining about parts that wear out? Lol maybe the discs had a lot of pitting? Anyway nice car just expensive it's well in coupe territory

Re: Z4M Roadster *for sale*
Stick to your guns on price I would, summers around the corner lovely looking motor it will sell just take a little longer thats all
I just sold "helped" my wife’s friends sell their 3 series when they said how much they wanted for it I almost spat coffee it was dealer territory and high at that, anyway put it up for sale as requested, did a really good ad, pics etc.
The price did come down a bit over the 2 weeks but they got around a thousand pounds more than the others for sale same spec etc so get what you think it was worth. But well looked after cars are hard to come by and people are happy to pay more
Also some people would feel a convertible is worth more simply as the roof comes down therefore an additional feature , and not appreciate the rarity factor of the coupe as this is a more niche market.
Typically the coupe variations our a cheaper alternative in the world of performance cars , think about TT's Clk’s 6 series , 3 series for example coupe are much cheaper than convertibles, the Z4 does buck the trend to be fair "fact" as did the Z3 Coupe as there will always be exceptions to the rule etc.... anyway am digging a pit here for myself
Good luck
